This also reminds me of the last time when I could consider myself a runner. I would go on a long weekend run with a friend or two, then we would choose a breakfast spot for after. Not a bad reward for hard work! I love breakfast food!
When you're not a natural runner, it's really hard to stay motivated. That's why I like to participate in organized races because, regardless of how long it takes you to complete the course, you always walk away a winner with some "bling" around your neck. This blog chronicles my journey to return to the running community, in order to get my butt off the couch to improve my fitness and my life in general.
